After this lesson you should be able to open the Documents workflow tab, read that proposal assembly is not connected, and produce the required files yourself. AsherGate does not generate or submit a complete proposal. Video and Ask AsherGate AI stay unavailable.
On a saved company draft, the Documents workflow tab is labeled soon. Its panel title is Proposal document assembly is coming soon. The description says required documents listed under Requirements are examples only, and that files are not generated or packaged here. Requirements is the only completed workflow example in this phase.
You can upload PDF, Word, Excel, PNG, and JPEG files to the draft, each up to 50 MB. That stores your work next to the solicitation. It does not merge volumes, apply page limits, insert signatures, or rename files to match Section L. The document generator remains Coming soon and does not draft capability statements or proposal outlines. Analysis extracts facts from source files. It does not write Volume I.
Create the files the notice names, in the format it names, outside any submit button. Submit only in the method Module 8 will cover, which is also outside AsherGate.
Using the Siltbank story below, open draft AG-ASM-26-0611, choose Documents, and read the coming-soon panel. Write Volume_I_Technical.pdf in your own software, then upload that finished file to the draft if you want it next to the RFP. Do not wait for the product to compile it. Do not submit.
Fictional example
Siltbank Culvert Grates Inc is a fictional grate shop in Boise, Idaho. It stores fictional RFP AG-ASM-26-0611 from a fictional Payette Drainage Desk for 8 galvanized culvert grates.
A teammate opens the draft, chooses Documents, and expects the product to combine the capability PDF, a price sheet, and a signature page into one offer. The panel says proposal document assembly is coming soon and that files are not generated or packaged here.
They write the three files Section L named, on their own computer, using the page limit and file names from the RFP. They upload the finished PDFs to the draft only as copies. They do not treat analysis as a compiled proposal. They do not submit a quotation from this workspace.
