Acceptable Use Policy

This policy describes permitted and prohibited use of AsherGate's commodity transaction workspace.

Effective date: July 1, 2026

1. Permitted Use

AsherGate may be used to organize legitimate commodity transaction workflows, manage company and counterparty information, prepare draft trade documents, coordinate Deal Rooms, upload authorized documents, and track activity history.

2. Prohibited Misrepresentation

  • Do not claim ownership, mandate authority, allocation, storage, refinery access, banking capability, or buyer/seller authority unless accurate and documented.
  • Do not upload forged, altered, misleading, or unauthorized trade documents.
  • Do not use AsherGate to impersonate another person, company, broker, supplier, buyer, bank, inspector, or government body.

3. Regulated and Restricted Activity

  • Do not use AsherGate to violate sanctions, export-control laws, customs laws, anti-money laundering requirements, anti-bribery laws, anti-corruption laws, or trade restrictions.
  • Do not use AsherGate for transactions involving restricted parties, prohibited destinations, unlawful goods, or activity you are not licensed or authorized to conduct.
  • Do not rely on AsherGate as a substitute for professional compliance review.

4. Security and Platform Integrity

  • Do not attempt unauthorized access to another company workspace, Deal Room, document, account, API route, or storage object.
  • Do not upload malware, scripts, credential harvesting content, or materials designed to disrupt the service.
  • Do not reverse engineer, scrape, overload, probe, or bypass platform security controls.

5. Enforcement

We may suspend or restrict access, remove content, preserve records, or notify appropriate parties when we believe use of AsherGate violates this policy, applicable law, or platform security requirements.
