- Uploaded documents and files that users choose to store in Deal Rooms.
- AI prompts, document-generation requests, and AI-assisted outputs needed to provide platform features.
- Technical information such as device, browser, logs, usage events, security events, and approximate access timestamps.
2. How We Use Information
- Provide and secure the AsherGate platform.
- Authenticate users and manage company workspaces.
- Create, organize, and display commodity transaction workflows.
- Generate AI-assisted summaries, drafts, and next-step suggestions.
- Improve reliability, support, auditability, and product quality.
- Respond to support, privacy, security, and account requests.
3. AI and Documents
AsherGate may process prompts, transaction context, and document text to provide AI-assisted features. Users should not submit information they are not authorized to process or share.
AI assistance does not replace legal, financial, banking, sanctions, export-control, customs, or compliance review.
4. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help host, secure, store, monitor, or operate AsherGate, subject to appropriate contractual safeguards.
Workspace content may be visible to authorized users in the relevant company, Deal Room, or transaction workflow according to platform permissions.
5. Retention and Security
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the platform, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, preserve audit history, and support legitimate business purposes.
We use administrative, technical, and organizational controls designed to protect information, but no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
6. Privacy Requests
To request access, correction, deletion, export, or other privacy assistance, contact privacy@ashergate.com. We may need to verify identity and authority before acting on a request.
