1. Security Approach
AsherGate treats security, privacy, company data isolation, and controlled document access as core product requirements. The platform is intended for organized transaction management, not public exchange activity.
2. Access Control
- Users authenticate before accessing protected workspace routes.
- Company workspaces and Deal Rooms should be limited to authorized participants.
- Administrative review and company-level access controls should be configured according to operational needs.
- Users are responsible for inviting the correct people and removing access when roles change.
3. Document Security
Deal documents may contain sensitive commercial, banking, identity, product, and logistics information. Users should upload only documents they are authorized to store and share.
AsherGate does not independently validate the legal effect, authenticity, or sufficiency of uploaded documents.
4. Operational Controls
- Use strong passwords and protect account credentials.
- Review company users and Deal Room participants regularly.
- Avoid uploading unnecessary sensitive data.
- Verify counterparties, documents, payment methods, and compliance requirements outside the platform with qualified professionals.
- Report suspected unauthorized access or document exposure promptly.
5. Incident Contact
For suspected security issues, contact support@ashergate.com. Include the affected workspace, approximate time, user account, Deal Room, document name, and a brief description of the issue.
