On a saved company draft, the Submission workflow tab is labeled soon. Its panel title is Bid submission is coming soon. The description says nothing is sent to SAM.gov, email, or a portal from this screen. Final Review is also a placeholder. Requirements is the only completed workflow example in this phase.
You can store the solicitation, your response copies, and a confirmation PDF after you submit elsewhere. Storing those files is not submission. Analysis does not transmit an offer. The document generator does not send one. FAR 15.208 still makes the offeror responsible for reaching the designated Government office. AsherGate is not that office.
After you submit in the named system, keep the confirmation with the draft so your team can see what was recorded. A confirmation is not award and is not proof that a late file will be considered.
Using the Wickerbay story below, open draft AG-NOSEND-26-0708, choose Submission, and read that nothing is sent. Then submit in the agency portal Section L names. Upload the confirmation PDF back into the draft. Do not wait for an AsherGate send control.
Fictional example
Wickerbay Tent Stakes Inc is a fictional camping-hardware shop in Traverse City, Michigan. It stores fictional RFQ AG-NOSEND-26-0708 from a fictional Sleeping Bear Facilities Desk for 400 steel tent stakes.
A teammate finishes the quote files, opens the draft, chooses Submission, and looks for a Send button. The panel says bid submission is coming soon and that nothing is sent to SAM.gov, email, or a portal from this screen.
They submit the files in the portal named in Section L, save the confirmation PDF onto the draft, and stop. They do not treat the AsherGate upload as the Government’s receipt. They do not treat the confirmation as an award.
Each official source is listed with the teaching claim it supports. Product behavior is labeled separately. Review dates are when AsherGate last checked the page.
