FAR 9.603 requires team arrangements to be identified and company relationships fully disclosed in the offer. FAR 9.104-4 says a prospective contractor may be required to provide written evidence of a proposed subcontractor’s responsibility. Put those facts in writing before anyone prices the work: legal name, Unique Entity ID if you have it, contact, what the firm will furnish or perform, and the planned workshare in the same units the solicitation uses.
In this product, open Vendors and choose Add vendor. The form stores name, type, country, website, email, phone, products, notes, an internal review status, and an internal risk label. The type list is Buyer, Seller, Broker, Supplier, Logistics, Inspection, and Finance. There is no Subcontractor type. Record a performing subcontractor as Supplier or another listed type and write the federal role and workshare in notes, for example “planned subcontractor: certified field welds, 22 hatches.” The review status and risk label are company labels. They are not a SAM.gov exclusion check and not a responsibility determination.
The vendor record is a company list. It is not attached automatically to a solicitation draft. Keep the notice number in the notes so your team can find it. If you have a written teaming or supply letter, upload the PDF or Word file to Company Documents or to the solicitation draft. Supported draft files are PDF, Word, Excel, PNG, and JPEG. The Vendors workflow tab on the draft does not store this split.
